Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing all invoices, ensuring that payments are made in a timely manner, and assisting with various accounting functions. The position requires a high level of accuracy, the ability to multitask, and excellent communication skills.
Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy of amounts and proper coding to accounts
Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accounts are up to date
Prepare and execute weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payment runs (check, ACH, wire transfer)
Maintain accurate records of payments, including documentation and receipts
Address and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues with vendors or internal teams
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring acccurate financial reporting
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal departments
Stay current with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
