Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing all invoices, ensuring that payments are made in a timely manner, and assisting with various accounting functions. Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy of amounts and proper coding to accounts
Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accounts are up to date
Prepare and execute weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payment runs (check, ACH, wire transfer)
Maintain accurate records of payments, including documentation and receipts
Address and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues with vendors or internal teams
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring acccurate financial reporting

Most of the day will be spent working in a team-based office environment. Self-motivation and strong communication skills are preferred as you'll typically work independently, though your work will typically be double-checked and reviewed by a co-worker and/or supervisor for accuracy. As an Estimator, one must demonstrate a skill in data analysis, finding inaccuracies within technical plans and demonstrate excellent problem solving skills.
Completes detailed and itemized material quantity estimates from owner contractor furnished plan sets
Determines accurate quantities related materials as measured from provided plan sets
Communicates with design engineer or owner to clarify any unusual or special material issues.
Researches plans and specifications to determine any special material requirements. Procures, picks-up and returns plan sets as required
Identifies materials required for construction of waterwork facilities.
Determines if supplied materials meet local/state/federal specifications
